No Pet Should Go Hungry

Pets are family and we want to keep your family whole. If you are struggling to feed your pet, we can help. Apply for longer-term pet food assistance until your financial situation strengthens, or visit Pet Pantry for emergency assistance.

Pet Food Assistance Program

This program is designed to keep beloved pets in their homes while their family overcomes financial crisis. We serve families on a first–come, first–served basis.

Eligibility:

-Must be a resident of Lancaster County
-Must provide proof of unemployment/low income status or disability
-Must have valid driver’s license or form of ID (this information MUST be included for application to be reviewed)
-Animals must be spayed/neutered
-Must provide rabies certificate for animals

-Must provide proof of current dog license
-Must have transportation to pick up food once a month
-Pets must be a member of your family for at least one year
-Must commit not to add more pets to your household while on the Food Assistance Program

*If your animal has not been spayed/neutered, or does not have their license or rabies certificate, these qualifications can be obtained through Pet Pantry. Call to discuss details.
