Community Celebration & Holiday Gathering

We welcome you to come to the rescue to enjoy a building lighting ceremony – where we light up our beloved building with thousands of holiday lights in honor or memoriam of your former loved ones, past pets, and the pets that bring joy to our lives each day.

Bring the whole pack to enjoy tours of our newly renovated building, delights from local food trucks, Spring House Brewing Co.’s holiday beer garden and wine tastings from Britain Hill Venue & Vineyard, finding one-of-a-kind gifts at our holiday market and the opportunity to snap family and dog photos with Santa. All under the cheerful glow of our warmly lit rescue.

Whether two-legged or four, your loved one deserves to be honored during Light the Way. To ensure each beloved pet and family member is recognized, we’ve provided giving options as well as a “choose your own amount” model so that you can easily purchase a string of holiday lights in honor or memoriam.

We welcome you to purchase a string of holiday lights that will adorn our beautiful brick building during the event and throughout the holiday season. Proceeds from this event will go to support our critical programs that answer the ever-growing needs of animals, in order to keep them safe and healthy in all environments throughout the areas we serve.

Special Event Details:

PARKING: Parking for Light the Way will be available in the upper parking lot of the Lowe’s Home Improvement located at 25 Rohrerstown Rd, Lancaster, PA 17603.
Complimentary shuttle service will be provided by Shultz Transportation from the Lowe’s parking lot to Pet Pantry and will be running in twenty minute intervals.
Handicap parking available behind Pet Pantry of Lancaster County.
DOGS: Well-behaved on leash dogs are welcome to join the event and ride the shuttle. Dogs must remain on leash at all times. No retractable leashes please.
CHILDREN: This is a family friendly event.
